It’s been a whole week since Scrap Pink…sorry I am just now posting.

I shared with the ladies in attendance that we were able to raise $450 for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation!!! Is that awesome, or what?

Many thanks go to the Coca-Cola Bottling Company for their donation of drinks for the crop, and to Wal-Mart for their donation of food. Be sure to show them your appreciation for getting involved.

I think a great time was had by all, and I am eager to do it again next year. In fact, I’m not sure I want to wait a whole year. Another cause that has always been close to my heart is St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. I’d really like to do another one of these events to raise money to donate to them. Stay tuned for more info on that.

I also thought I’d share a few pictures of our day:

Didn’t we look pretty in pink? If you took pictures, I’d love for you to share. Just email me at kwitekreative@aol.com

Scrap Pink Survey

Great news! After initial preregistrations, there is still room at our Scrap Pink crop, so we will continue to register participants until the day of the crop.

Please note, t-shirts are no longer available for purchase, and most of our classes are filled. If you are interested in any of the classes, email me and we will see what we can do. kwitekreative@aol.com

Fill out the registration form in the post below to reserve your croppin’ spot today!

I am so excited! Scrap Pink is coming up on September 27, and I have been busy planning and preparing for an awesome crop experience. Here are the details:

When: Saturday, September 27, 9 am til 5 pm
Where: First Baptist Church Minden Fellowship Hall
Admission: $30 for 4 feet of cropping space, snacks and drinks, a goody bag, and 8 hours of cropping time!

And the best part??? Proceeds will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, so this is truly a crop that makes a difference!

Classes will be offered for an additional fee, and vendors will be on hand with scrapbooking supplies for sale. There will also be raffles, door prizes, and a silent auction. Speaking of…we are accepting donations of scrapbooking items (supplies or completed projects, such as cards or layouts) to auction off. Please let me know if you are willing to donate something.

Space at the crop is limited, so you MUST pre-register before September 20. To register, fill out the form below, and then mark your calendar. You will receive an email with payment instructions. It’s as easy as that!

ScrapPink Registration

I’m hosting a free beginning scrapbooking class on Saturday, July 26.

Each participant will need to bring five or six pictures of the same event. You will leave with two completed scrapbook pages showcasing your special photos! If you’ve always wanted to try scrapbooking, now’s your chance to get started at NO COST to you! What’s better than free?

Please note: Children 6 and older are welcome to participate, but must be accompanied by an adult also taking the class. Please make other arrangements for children younger than 6.

If you would like to attend or receive more information about it, please fill out the form below:

Registration for Class

I’m so excited!

I’m having a card class at my house on Saturday, July 12. We’ll be making THAT set, right there, to the right =======>

The pink one. And the reason I’m excited to make that set is because when I cracked into that kit to make up the demo set, I discovered that I could make TEN cards, not just the five shown.

We’re going to have a blast!
