These are the five projects we’ll be creating on Saturday.
Blogger is giving me fits – it wouldn’t let me load anything for the last 2 days, and now it loads things sideways! My apologies.

I chose Cosmo Cricket’s Nutmeg kit for this month’s layouts, and I was really surprised that I could get two such different themes out of it.

First up is a nice, Thanksgiving-themed layout. There is room for 4 4×6 photos (or 8 4 x 3’s) and one 5×7 portrait-oriented photo.

And the second, a lovely Valentine-themed layout, with room for 4 4×4 photos and 2 4×6 photos. The block with the I
I really love both of these layouts, and can’t wait til my 2010 photos arrive so I can add them!

This month, our class & crop will be held a little earlier, because I know several of our ladies will be out of town or possibly attending Women of Faith at the CenturyTel Center.

So, we’ll be meeting on Saturday, March 21. Class begins at 10:00 am, and will be two 2-page spreads using Kimberley Poloson’s Cabana Blooms paper set. (Gorgeous!) Class fee is $15, and I must know if you’re attending by Thursday, March 12.

Our crop will start at 1 pm and goes until 9 pm. Note the time change – this is due to some of the ladies wanting to get an earlier start (myself included!), and also not wanting to be on the road heading home so late at night. Crop fee is $10, and snacks, drinks, and a light supper are included.

If you’d like to participate in both the class and the crop, you pay only $20 to do both!

Please let me know ASAP if you’ll be attending.

I’m ready to get back into the groove of holding classes. I really miss it when I haven’t had one in a long time. For February, we’ll be doing a 4-page spread using the very pretty Comfort kit from My Mind’s Eye. This kit has so many great elements to it, and the layouts will hold several pictures of almost any type. Class begins at 10 am on Saturday, February 28, and will last about 2 hours. Cost is $15. Deadline for signing up is Friday, February 20.

I’m also holding my second monthly crop that same afternoon from 2 pm to 10 pm. We had so much fun at the last one, I wish we could do it every weekend! Cost for the crop is $10, and snacks, drinks, and a light supper are included. Sign up ASAP, as I have a definite number of spots available.

If you’d like to come to the class and stay for the crop, no problem! In fact, you’ll even save a little money. Do both for only $20! Sign up today!

I am beyond excited! My plans for a charity crop for St. Jude’s are finally being set into motion. Originally, I wanted to hold the crop during the same weekend as the Minden St. Jude’s auction, but met with several roadblocks trying to get that set up (chiefly, a place to hold it). But now I finally have a date, and it’s almost 6 months exactly from the ScrapPink crop. Perfect timing, I think.

So, our fabulous crop will be held Saturday, March 28 at the Country Place Restaurant in Minden. It’s a great location and Mr. McFarland, the owner, is even going to provide lunch for the croppers!

I have so much to do now to prepare…from setting up classes to getting goodie bags ready to gathering prizes, to…to…well, everything! But it’s a good kind of busy, and I am so glad to be doing it for my favorite cause, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Stay tuned for details and registration.

I’m so excited!

I’m having a card class at my house on Saturday, July 12. We’ll be making THAT set, right there, to the right =======>

The pink one. And the reason I’m excited to make that set is because when I cracked into that kit to make up the demo set, I discovered that I could make TEN cards, not just the five shown.

We’re going to have a blast!
