Happy Monday to you! I’m happy to be participating in this week’s Make It Monday blog tour as I finish up this last week of January’s Monday Mojo series. Say that three times fast! LOL

My project this week is a layout inspired by the sketch prompt brought to you by Stuck!? Sketches. I followed the sketch very closely, and I’m thrilled with the way this page about my nieces turned out as a result.P1160433

Details: All the papers are from my stash – a My Mind’s Eye paper pad I got for a screaming deal at Michael’s. The striped strip is cut to 2 1/2″ wide. The white floral is a 4″ x 6″ piece. The pink floral is 3″ x 9″. The green polka dot is 3″ x 5.” The blue circle is 5 1/2.” Embellishments are a border sticker from an old Basic Grey sticker sheet. Flowers are from Prima, and rounding everything out are Doodlebug white enamel dots and stamped stitches.

White enamel dots brighten up the yellow flowers.

The stitching is stamped on using Close to My Heart Crystal Blue

Layers of pretty pink, orange, blue and green from My Mind’s Eye “Lime Twist” are a perfect complement to the photos

There’s still time to participate in the Stuck!? Sketches challenge. Upload your entry by January 29, and you could win a prize from one of their sponsors.
