Well, well, well. April already? This year is whizzing by like a missed deadline! Well, for me, anyway – Last-minute Lisa. I’ll probably be late for my own funeral!

But I digress. The real reason you’re here is to get a peek inside this month’s Scraps & Stash kit, right? Well, I won’t keep YOU waiting, dear reader. Let’s dive right in!

The Inspiration

This month, I’m taking a page from my OWN playbook, and I’m using a color scheme from an upcoming Monday Mojo prompt to inspire my choices. This particular scheme just speaks spring to me, and I’m always a sucker for a pink and aqua combo. I did decide to add in some greens and yellows, just for a little more variety in my own kit.

Happy, happy, happy!

The Kit

The contents of the kit are as follows:

15 sheets of 12 x 12 patterned paper (all of which came from paper stacks – is it just me, or are they getting better than they used to be?)
3 large-ish scraps patterned paper
1 pad 4.5 x 6.5 cardstock mats
1 pack die-cut shapes
1 pack sticker shapes
2 packs printed round cork stickers
3 scrap journal cards
3 everyday stamp sets
5 ink pads matching color scheme

The Projects

There is soooo much in this kit, but there’s a method behind my stash-busting madness. I’m attending a retreat next weekend and an all-day charity crop 2 weeks after that. Since I like to pack light, I wanted to put together a big, juicy kit that would carry me at least mostly through both events.

How about you? Are there supplies in your stash that fit with this color scheme? Or do you have another in mind that could jump-start your own kit assembly session? I’d love to see what you’ve got. Stop by our Facebook group to share photos of your kit and projects, or just to say hello and chat with some friendly scrappers.

Till next time,
Lisa

P.S. You can see the whole kit, piece-by-piece, in this video:
