Whew! Where does the time go? I had every intention of posting S&S Saturday after I got home from retreat yesterday. Obviously, my intentions were not realized, and instead I spent a leisurely evening with my son who came to visit while his dad cooked supper. It’s rough on me…
At any rate, I’m here now to share my kits and projects from the past week.
Mini Kit #17 uses paper, borders, stickers and frames from Reminisce’s Unwritten line.
Layout #17 – Stay Tuned! Tells the story of what television was like in my house growing up.
Mini Kit #18 has papers from Jillibean Soup, stickers from My Mind’s Eye, and alphas from October Afternoon and Thickers.
Layout #18 – My Troublesome Two Front Teeth tells the story of my front teeth falling out, then growing in all wrong.
Mini Kit #19 includes patterned paper from My Mind’s Eye and Studio Calico, stickers from Simple Stories, Studio Calico Journaling cards, Fancy pants buttons, and random ribbon and fabric tape from stash.
Mini Kit #20 has patterned paper from Simple Stories and Jillibean Soup, stickers from My Mind’s Eye, Pink Paisley alpha stickers, and Studio Calico journaling cards.Layout #20 – I’m a Believer describes how I grew up believing in God, even though I wasn’t raised in church.
Layout #20 – Whoops! is about the time I whacked off my hair because I didn’t think my new haircut was short enough.
Mini Kit #22 uses my fantastic prize patterned papers and black and white Thickers.
Layout #22 – Disco Fever tells all about how the 70’s will forever be thought of as the Disco Decade.
Layout #23 – 66 Acre Playground tells how as a child, I had a huge “playground” to explore because we lived on a 66-acre farm.
Mini Kit #24 includes patterned papers from Amy Tangerine, My Mind’s Eye, and Echo Park, brads from My Mind’s Eye, a Studio Calico journaling card, and Thickers and Pebbles Tiny Type alphas.
Layout #24 – Just Thinkin and Drinkin tells the story of my sister’s and my sleepover with our older sister, drinking Slenderalls for breakfast and how they look like cans of beer in the photo.
Whoa! Lots of kits and layouts this week! I am so pleased with how much stash I’m using, and I am LOVING the layouts I’ve made so far this month. I can’t wait to put all these layouts into their own dedicated album. And, I am still on track with the challenges – I haven’t missed a day yet, and I want to finish this final week strong and proud. And of course, I’ll be back next week to show you the results. Thanks for joining me!
